MICRO-FINANCE DONATION OPTIONS

Option A - Paying for Chickens Only.
At Hope Farms, baby chicks are raised from one day to 8 weeks old and then either sold on for trade or kept as layers to constantly provide eggs for sales. By making a donation of as little as $3 - you can help to pay for a baby chick plus it's feed for the 8 week time frame. This donation would be treated as a Micro-Power Starter-fund towards a church, community or single woman looking to begin a small farm trade. The exact same amount [no interest charged] will then be paid back to Micro-Power so they can pay-it-forward to the next entrepreneur to start their own farm.

Option B-Help to set up whole farm!
By donating funds of up to $1,600/£800 - you can help set up an entire farm which consists of;
A poultry house with chicken run, vaccinations, chicken feed, equipment, saw-dust and all other running costs. Chicks are raised from 8 weeks onwards as free range ready to lay [eggs] chickens.
To thank you for this important donation the farm will be named after you and a commemorative plaque will be placed on the premises!


INCOME EXAMPLE – KENYA - EGG SALES

A chicken farm with 200 Chickens produces 200 Eggs per day
200 x 4 weeks = 6,000 Eggs per month.
Sold at $4 USD per crate of 30 Eggs
= $800 Dollars/Month income.
Approx Total Egg Sale Revenue in One Year = $9,600 USD.
Hens sold off at the end of 52 laying weeks @ $7 each also yields
$1,400 US Dollars.

Many of the young people we currently care for are HIV/AID's orphans or have been orphaned due to war and poverty.

Our children have been placed in JHM Children's Homes where they are looked after and supported by church leaders and members of their local community, but they are in constant need of REGULAR ASSISTANCE - the type that is permanent and life-transforming!
