WHO WE HELP! MICRO*EMPOWER is targeted at WOMEN who are living in poverty but have the potential and STRONG desire to work their own small business/trade.
Some only wish to farm their land, raise chickens for sale, own, milk and sell goats, whist others simply wish to sell foodstuff, clothes, weave items and so on but have no starting capital which can be as little as $50 US dollars. That is all it takes to tranform them from beggars to self sufficient people. We take a good look at the women we rescue, arranging and providing training opportunities for them to start helping themselves or to combine their skills to form a partnership or small cooperative that provide food stuff or hand finished products for sale at the local market or to the community they live in.
We help WOMEN who are hungry to HELP THEMSELVES. So we at MICRO*EMPOWER and at JHM GLOBAL believe and frequently experience it that a little helping is all a WOMAN need to stand up on her own feet and to become personally, economically and financially independent. The greatest part is once strong, then are encourage and they do willingly help other WOMEN also to get unto their feet.
We not only help this WOMEN, we celebrate them! That is what MICRO*EMPOWERMENT is all about!
